Tips for candle care
WoodWick® candles may occasionally have different burning properties than conventional candles. Here are a few simple steps to ensure the best burner experience every time.
Let the wax get completely liquid.
You get the best burning results when the candle burns for 3-4 hours.
Make sure that the wax reaches to the edge of the candles before you delete it - this can take between 30 and 60 minutes. Allowing the wax to accumulate prevents tunnelling or wax residue on the sides of the vessel.
Flame height can vary from time to time and may even appear self-extinguishing, but this is normal. Even if you notice a "low" flame, it heats up further and the flame height should return.
Keep the candle within sight and away from drafts
Always place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface and keep the candle away from children, pets, combustible materials and other heat sources.
Do not move the candle while it is burning or when the wax is hot.
To be on the safe side, do not move the candle until the flame has extinguished and the wax has cooled completely.
